The ratio of these two numbers is a mathematical constant we call pi. while this definition is simple pi has been studied for thousands of years and History of our understanding not just of the value of pi. But also, what it means forms a history of all of mathematics it takes us from the Middle East to Europe to China to India and even America. It's a history, which involves revolutions murder and the infinite. Math is as old as civilization older even. There's evidence of counting going back thirty thousand years and two of the very earliest civilizations the ancient Egyptians and Babylonians both investigated pi around 4000 years ago the Babylonians estimated PI to be 3 and 1/8. Remember that the first few digits of pi are 3.1415926. There are more, that means that the Babylonian estimate of Pi is accurate to 1% of its true value. A conversation with moon. From Ayan's Journel.

-Well, an encounter from my diary. The last part, I reckon, tends to be more philosophical and thoughtful.  -"It's just another normal day in a normal boy's life. He is trying to get things done. Complete his work in the ordinary manner. But soon enough he lost in thoughts and makes it to an 'extra-ordinary' realm of thoughts and emotions. How it contrasts from reality to imagination . The question remains, what's the difference?  Rest is for you to find out."  Hey! Luna. I know, I am sorry. Couldn't come yesterday. I haven't been my best self lately. My productivity has drastically decreased. I happen to feel a bit sleppy many times in the day. I think I will have to make a new schedule for me and work more on improving my focus and productivity. - I was watching The Good Omens, which I am probably not gonna continue watching. It was good though. The concept of God and biblical beings have been really interesting. I reckon the writers ...

From the diary of a teen.

It is another night; I am sitting on my couch with my laptop on my lap. My phone is a little away on which Retro Hindi songs are playing. Its mesmerising and making a vintage atmosphere around. Its winter and cold has engulfed my home village from all around. Cold chills blow and make bones shake. The chirping of birds outside and the voices and playing of animals have disappeared. I sit in my room, making myself totally comfortable with evergreen music of old Bollywood, the melodious voices of Muhammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Hemant Kumar and Jagjit Singh are like medicine to my soul and act as great stress relievers. I look in the mirror and try to set my hair and ignore my acne. I select this type writer font on my laptop and begin to write. It might look a bit odd for my taste of music being this old and the type-writer font and the cosy atmosphere I try to create. You won’t be wrong to call me a classic. My taste of music actually, is a bit odd itself as one hand I love M...

The Dogma of 'Real Me'.

“Its 12:26 am, the lights are mostly out, night has acquired its jazz mood. Its late October, winter is knocking hard, chills blow the curtains as I sit under this shady, not-so-bright light on my desk putting my overcoat on the back of my chair as I am in a restaurant. Too cold, too vintage depicting the very mood of my life right now just right with right number of classics and right amount of wine. A lot of rights there hiding the very wrong in them. I doubt my life is going to be the same merry as before. Though with full optimism in heart I hope for the obverse. I feel like a Human female witnessing my own menstrual cycle, i.e., I feel like a teen girl on periods though I might have no idea what that actually feels like. I wanted it to go like that, little scientific with a blend of cool and all modernized-ish. With no one to talk and a lot to absorb, I sit down in anguish and little conviction to write. As writing has been a great escape and my little way process it ...

IMAGINING MY DEATH

IMAGINING MY DEATH Isn’t it fascinating to think about death? Couldn’t it be a great escape to just die? All of us would have thought about killing ourselves but most of us don’t have the courage to do so, but it should not be too difficult to think and imagine one’s death. Let’s imagine together what my death will be like and its consequences as well. I will try to be raw and honest. It might be pretty intense.       If I attempt suicide, I guess I will probably hang myself. Cutting and bleeding to death is more gross and painful. First, Mom will probably enter my room to find my body. This could send her in shock. She will definitely scream. My sister will join next, confused, doesn’t understand what is happening watching mom crying and me, well dead. Dad will come after that, asking, “what happened?” and when he will see me, he will also shout. Mom will be wondering what happened, being in denial. She will probably ask dad to see what happe...
